Welcome to Strictly Whimsy Originals, a small, individually run online shop that specializes in handmade homespun tea towels, table runners, window valances and other needfuls. I also sell through local shops and occasionally on eBay, but opened up this online shop so I can get my items directly to customers and keep the prices low while doing it. I sell a few items that are not hand-made that I pick up here and there to accent the pieces I make, but the bulk of my items are hand-made with care by me personally. I take great pride in the work I do and it is important to me that you are happy with all of your purchases from SWO. If by any chance you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply contact me and I will make it right!
If you are a "local" and are looking for a great place to spend a day, head to the Turkey River Mall in beautiful Elkader, Iowa where I have a room full of goodies on the second floor. This is an old, three story, brick hotel building (plus the basement!) that has been converted to an antique/craft mall and I guarantee you will spend the entire day looking through the great rooms stocked by 110 local vendors.
I am always willing to work with the customer on custom orders, so if you want something specific and do not see it, or if you have questions, feel free to email me! I do lots of great personalized items!

This website is set up with a shopping cart system through PayPal to make purchasing quick and easy for the customer, but I accept orders via email at strictlywhimsy@hotmail.com and by old fashioned postal mail as well. Simply include the items you want and the fabric choices or stitching choices along with a check or money order and send to:

The shipping calculator through the shopping cart is based on the amount ordered as follows:
Standard Domestic:

Priority Mail:
| $0.01- | $14.99 | $5.00 |

| $30.00- | and up | $13.00 |
Depending on your purchases, most times the calculator works to your advantage, but sometimes not. If you want me to personally calculate the shipping total by weight, I would be happy to. Just email your order to strictlywhimsy@hotmail.com and I will weigh the items and send you a PayPal invoice with the total including the exact shipping amount.
